Within the rich nature of the Bolu region, we designed a small but attractive family residence that occupies a total area of 974 m2. The project consists of a central apartment building that includes four 2+1 apartments surrounded by several facilities and public services areas.

Our goal was to design a building that blends in with the surrounding nature without appearing as a structure that does not belong to the architectural language of the context.

The apartment consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room with a spacious balcony.

As for the materials, we used stone for the main structure, wood for the roof, glass for the outer doors and windows, and steel for the final touches to add a modern look to the building. The traditional design of the building, in addition to this material combination, has shaped the structure’s character and identity.

Regarding the public spaces, the residence provides an open fireplace area with a big fire lot surrounded by seats for residents to gather and socialize during cold nights. Also, we designed a playing area for children, separated pergolas for private gatherings, and parking spaces for tenants’ cars.
